Deathtrap is a Tower Defense game with strong action-RPG elements that offers a truly unique mixture of gameplay. You are the last line of defense against the hordes of monsters that are returning from the depths to conquer and kill. In this game, you must choose your hero and defend the silent forts by using, rebuilding, and improving ancient traps and magical machines.
The game features a single player campaign, cooperative campaign, and a player versus player mode. In the cooperative campaign, specially designed maps allow players to team up with other heroes to save the world together. In the player versus player mode, the defender prepares traps and defensive tactics, while the attacker has the ability to possess and control directly any creature in his or her army and employs skills to weaken the opponent or boost the invaders.
Deathtrap also features an integrated Map Editor and Monster Editor that lets players create their own user-generated content and share their deadly, cunning levels and challenging mini-campaigns with others. With 25 deadly traps, more than 150 trap upgrades, and 100 levels to achieve, Deathtrap offers a wide variety of gameplay that will keep players engaged for hours.
